About the Artist

A woman stands outdoors near a body of water with mountains and cloudy sky in the background, holding a camera and looking thoughtfully into the distance.

I’ve always felt compelled to capture the world as I experience it, and to share that magic with others. Nature has been the number one guiding force in my life for as long as I can remember: It has shaped me into who I am today, and with that passion, comes a desire to forge a deeper connection with the natural world through capturing life in the wildest places on the planet.

From bushwhacking miles with thirty pounds of gear on my back, to countless hours spent waiting for an animal to appear, to traversing the same hike repeatedly in the dark, nature photography is an ongoing lesson in patience and endurance.

Photography is about more than just capturing what I see: It’s about creating. Creating a scene, evoking emotion, and telling a visual story through careful composition - a dance that demands unwavering dedication. It is art, using the Earth as a canvas.

My photography is a bridge between modern society and the Earth in its natural state. By encouraging people to find tenderness in the wild, I hope to inspire them to gain a greater respect for the delicate balances at play in the vast ecosystem of our planet, allowing them to connect more deeply with themselves as well as the creatures with which we share it.
